Full double dip file from TPV Career Mode: Season 2, stage 9. This was a 25km race on a punchy little circuit in strong winds. Got a small gap over the main little kicker and then really sent it to try and drag 1 bot away with me from the lead group of 8. This was a risky scenario as we came into the final 3km because the pack were still very close, and I definitely put my finish position at risk committing to the breakaway. Got the job done though, was a good bit of unstructured fun to finish the week off.
Then I went into 20x10sec at > 700 with 50sec between. The rationale behind this was that for the next little bit I want to re-introduce some higher power, muscular efficiency work in. I have lacked high intensity work this year for sure, but I feel like a lot of this is simply motor patterns and hitting the right cadence and torques during high intensity efforts.
This was the first time in ages that I felt like myself at this type of combination. The first few very much had an increasing cadence, unmanageable feeling to them, which alot of my harder efforts have lately. But after a few I got into the really smooth groove where I have to work really hard for 2-3 sec to get on top of the gear but then it sits nicely at ~70rpm or > 100NM. I plan to do something like this or 20sec at 600 > or 30s at 500 > to finish hard days, for the next little bit!
