The Tour de France kicks off this weekend 🇫🇷. All the virtual platforms are offering something to help get into the 'Tour Fever' spirit... Are you keen to know what is going on across the platforms? This is a post for you...
Zwift
A new Paris expansion | Due for full release on Monday July 6th. There is 13km of new tarmac and cobblestones in the Paris loop, including the iconic Montmartre climb.
There will be a KOM finish at the Basilica, three new Sprint segments and 10+ new routes.
SiSu Tour and ECRO Chasing Yellow | Community organised events from SiSu and ECRO promise to bring in big fields.
ECRO will have a stage each day - covering the full 21 days/stages. This is one for the stage race specialists.
SiSu Tour is a bit more accessible with 7 stages, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Tour Fever events and racing | Zwift will also be hosting their usual full calendar of events covering group rides and Tour themed ZRacing, TT, Epic, and Crit series.
A bonus note for the racers, Zwift have also just released the Specialised Tarmac SL9 and fast Roval wheels. Worth jumping into the Drop Shop for.
TrainingPeaks Virtual
A brilliant example of TPv's GPXplore feature. A full 21-stage virtual race series built on the actual TdF route profiles.
Every iconic climb, descent and finish is replicated from the real terrain, so you don't have to just watch the tour, you can ride it yourself.
Each stage is about an hour featuring all the "best bits" (not the full monster routes the pros are doing), and there's no GC pressure - jump in for the stages you want, skip the ones you don't.
Full route list, parcours and timings are available here
This is available as part of the Free4All program, and can be ridden by anyone even if they don't have a TrainingPeaks Premium account.

MyWhoosh
Launched on June 18th, MyWhoosh added a new France world. This is currently accessible by purchasing a Season Pass
The world includes the iconic Col du Galibier and Hautacam.
... Apart from that, the focus on MyWhoosh will be on the MyWhoosh Championship which is running between 7th - 14th July. Good luck to everyone taking part!

Biketerra
With similar capability, Biketerra can also easily replicate the actual TdF routes.
Terra de France is following each stage of the 2026 TdF. There will be 15 stage finishes ~25-35 mins on day of stage (best 10 count), 5 KOM finishes across the tour duration (polka dot jersey) and 1 iTT being the full stage 16.
